1. About Us

CardCJ is operated by Christopher Jahr Enterprises S.L.U., a company registered in Spain with NIF B26613646, located at Placa Espana 11, 07002 Palma, Spain. By using our website at www.cardcj.com ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Description of Service

CardCJ is an online marketplace for buying and selling Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards. We facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers but do not own or stock the cards listed on the platform. CardCJ acts as an intermediary, providing the platform, payment processing, and escrow services.

3. User Accounts

To use CardCJ, you must create an account. You agree to:

Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
Notify us immediately at support@cardcj.com of any unauthorized use

4. Seller Requirements

To sell on CardCJ, you must complete seller verification. As a seller, you agree to:

Accurately describe card condition using standard grading terminology (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.)
Only list cards you physically possess and own
Ship sold items within 3 business days of sale
Provide tracking information for all shipments
Not list counterfeit, proxy, or unauthorized reproduction cards
Honor the listed price at the time of sale

5. Fees and Payments

All prices on CardCJ are displayed in Euros (EUR).

Buyers pay the listed card price plus applicable shipping costs. No additional marketplace fees are charged to buyers.
Sellers are charged a 10% marketplace fee plus payment processing fees (2.9% + €0.25) on the total transaction amount (card price + shipping). These fees are deducted from the seller's payout.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

6. Escrow and Payouts

When a buyer makes a purchase, the payment is held in escrow by CardCJ. Funds are released to the seller when:

The buyer confirms receipt of the card, or
14 days have passed after the seller marks the order as shipped with tracking

This escrow system protects both buyers and sellers.

7. Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated based on the buyer's and seller's locations:

Same country: €1.85 (orders under €25) or €4.50 (orders €25+)
Within the EU: €15.00
International: €25.00

Sellers must ship with tracking and are responsible for packaging cards securely to prevent damage during transit.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

List counterfeit, proxy, or unauthorized reproduction cards
Misrepresent card conditions or provide false descriptions
Engage in fraudulent activities, shill bidding, or price manipulation
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Circumvent the platform to complete transactions outside CardCJ
Use the Service for money laundering or any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform

9. Disputes

If a buyer receives a card that does not match the listing description, they should contact us at support@cardcj.com within 14 days of delivery. We will review the dispute and may issue a refund from the escrowed funds if the claim is valid. We encourage buyers and sellers to communicate directly to resolve issues before escalating to CardCJ.

10. Intellectual Property

Yu-Gi-Oh! and its respective properties are © Studio Dice/SHUEISHA, TV TOKYO, KONAMI. All card names, images, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. CardCJ is not affiliated with or endorsed by any trading card game manufacturer. Card images and names are used for identification purposes only.

The CardCJ platform, including its design, logo, and source code, is the property of Christopher Jahr Enterprises S.L.U. and is protected by intellectual property laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

CardCJ facilitates transactions between independent buyers and sellers. While we take measures to verify sellers and protect transactions through escrow, CardCJ is not responsible for:

The condition, authenticity, or quality of cards sold by third-party sellers
Delays or failures in shipping by sellers or postal services
Losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you to CardCJ in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms other users or the integrity of the marketplace. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support@cardcj.com.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of CardCJ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
